BBC Reporting Scotland: Glasgow North Baby Bank urge Health Board to reinstate Health Visitor referrals

In September 2020, BBC Reporting Scotland covered the story of the volunteers at Glasgow North Baby Foodbank who are trying to reinstate their Health Visitor referral scheme. Health Visitors were stopped from referring families by Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board because the Baby Foodbank provides infant formula as part of it's wider service.

Dr. Erin Williams from Feed comments on the need for maximisisng access to formula; we can meet immediate need for food alongside signposting families to longer term support.Erin was interviewed as part of the piece which urged UNICEF UK to change their approach.
